Does the Acacia Palace only accommodate adult guests?
The Acacia Palace welcomes guests from 12 years old.

What is the standard time for check-in and check-out?
Upon arrival, the rooms are available to guests from 14:00 and on departure they must be left by 11:00 Baggage can be left in storage until the actual time of departure.

Are there smoking rooms?
Smoking is not allowed in the hotel’s interior spaces but to facilitate smoking customers, almost all the outdoor spaces and all the terraces of the rooms are equipped with comfortable armchairs and a table equipped with an ashtray.

What time is it possible to have breakfast?
The breakfast buffet is served from 07:00 to 10:00. In case of early departure, it is possible, upon request at the reception, to arrange an early reduced breakfast.

Is it possible to park inside the hotel?
The hotel has an unguarded and free of charge parking inside the property and also has a covered garage with supplement.

Is it possible to bring dogs?
Animals are not allowed.

Are there extra beds available in the rooms?
All our double rooms can also be twin with 2 separate beds. We also have triple rooms and a Suite, which can accommodate 4 people.

Do you have internet access?
The hotel has free Wifi in the common areas and in the rooms.

Languages
Reception staff speaks German, English, French. The languages spoken by our staff are highlighted on their badges.

Is it possible to pay by credit card?
We accept Maestro and the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard

Safe
All bedrooms have safes. The hotel is not responsible for objects that have not been deposited in the safe. For information contact the Reception.

Is there a laundry service?
The hotel offers laundry service and the price list is located in the rooms.
Customers can use the appropriate extendable thread in the bathroom or in the room’s balcony, or they can place it on the armchairs of the same, avoiding making it visible to other hotel guests.

Beach and swimming pool
Our private beach is located about 100 meters from the hotel, crossing the beautiful promenade.
The private beach is open from June to September and is subject to charges. The cost is € 30 per room in August and € 20 in all other periods. The cost includes 2 sunbeds and an umbrella.
The swimming pool is available to guests included in the price of the stay. The opening times of the beach and swimming pool, guaranteed by the presence of lifeguards, are from 09:00 to 19:00

Distance from the center and from the airports
Walking along the promenade, 400 meters away you will reach the first square where there are bars, pubs and ice cream shops; continuing for another 300 meters you arrive at the main square where there is also the pharmacy. Continuing the walk for another 500 meters, the tourist harbor with beautiful boats welcomes us.
The closest airport is Comiso, about 25 km away, while Catania is 120 km away.
On request we can organize transfers from all airports at special prices.
The small town of Punta Secca which houses the Montalbano house is 10 km from the hotel,
while you can reach many interesting places, Unesco heritages a few km away, for example Scicli (12 km), Ragusa Ibla (25 km), Modica (24 km), Noto (58 km), Syracuse (88 km) and many more…
Upon request and reservation it is possible to take part in the excursions organized by our partners starting from the hotel.

Lunch and dinner
Marina di Ragusa offers many Restaurants, Pubs and Bars, but if you don’t want to move and want to be in total relaxation, our Restaurant offers both lunch and dinner, a rich Buffet that meets everyone’s needs. Furthermore, on beautiful warm evenings, upon reservation, it is possible to dine in our Outdoor “à la Carte” restaurant in the garden, surrounded by the scents of the lush vegetation.
Hours: lunch from 13:00 to 14:30; dinner from 19:00 to 21:00
A la carte room service is available from 07:00 to 23:00

Entertainment
Our hotel is a place where our guests can totally relax, so we have no animation, but some evenings of the week we offer good live music, with which our guests let themselves be dragged to fun dances.
A tennis court, a fitness room with various exercise equipment and heated whirlpools are part of the offer included in the price.
